Notre Dame Men’s Association NDMA
To Provide for the Spiritual and Social Wellbeing of the Parish.
The NDMA was established on November 8, 2008 and held its organizational meeting on January 20, 2009. The mission of the association is twofold: firstly, to provide for the spiritual and social needs of the men of Notre Dame and secondly, to strengthen and improve the parish community.
To these ends the NDMA organizes an annual weekend retreat for men each fall at the Holy Family retreat house in West Hartford. There are quarterly dinner meetings held in the church hall where members socialize and plan events for the year. Events such as baseball outings to Yankees, Mets and Bluefish games and a Communion Breakfast with a guest speaker are all in the planning.
The NDMA sponsors and hosts several events for the parish community including Lenten suppers every other Friday during lent, a New Years Eve dinner dance. All of these events are to be held in the parish hall. Additionally, the NDMA co-sponsors with the Ladies Council an annual family breakfast and the annual parish picnic.
All men of the parish are welcomed and encouraged to join and participate in the association activities. Annual yearly dues are $20.00.
