The Women of Notre Dame is a welcoming community of women who come together to grow in faith, enjoy fellowship, support one another, and joyfully serve our parish and community. Whether you've been a parishioner for many years or are new to Notre Dame, we warmly invite you to join us. There is always a place for you.
We gather for lunch (free) one Tuesday a month in Deacon Sabol Hall from September through June. Our gatherings offer fellowship, guest speakers, opportunities to become involved in parish life, and time to grow together in faith and friendship. Meeting dates are published in the parish bulletin, and all women of the parish are always welcome.
What We Do
Throughout the year, members share their time and talents in support of our parish and the wider community through fellowship, service, and charitable outreach.
Ongoing Ministry
- Food pantry collections for Blessed Sacrament Parish (drop off unopened non-perishable items in the church kitchen; check the bulletin for the items that are most needed)
Cherished Traditions
Our ministry has been blessed to sponsor and participate in many memorable parish events and activities, including:
- Parish Cookbook (pick up a copy in the rectory office)
- Raffles at the annual Parish Feast, Christmas Dinner, and Spring Dinner
- Bake Sales
- Christmas Giving Tree (benefits Caroline House and families of St. Charles Borromeo and St. George Parish)
- Lenten Loaves & Fishes spare change collection
- Creche Set-Up & Take-Down
- Easter basket collection and assembly for the children of Blessed Sacrament Parish
- Santa's Visit during the Christmas Tree Lighting
- Pilgrimages and day trips to local shrines, churches, and places of interest
We look forward to continuing these cherished traditions while welcoming new ideas, new friendships, and new opportunities to serve.
Membership
Membership runs from September through June, but new members are welcome at any time. Please place your dues in the gold envelope included in your parish envelope packet (or any envelope) and drop it in the weekend collection or bring it to the parish office. Please include your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address. Your dues help us run events and programs and support local organizations.
Annual Dues:
Ages 60 & Over — $10 | Under Age 60 — $20
